Glenn Struble Manufacturing Co. was founded in 1974 by Glenn Struble, a Mechanical Engineer with a love for fly-fishing and a commitment to excellence.
The business was first housed in Glenn's garage at his home in Roseburg, Oregon. As the company quickly grew, it moved to a 2,000 square-foot building in nearby Sutherlin, and later expanded into the 2,500 square-foot building next door. In 1990, Struble moved to a brand new 12,000 square-foot building where we remain today.
Glenn Struble passed away in 1993, leaving a legacy that the company is dedicated to preserving. Glenn had instilled in each employee his desire for excellence in design, quality and performance. And for more than a quarter century, Struble has been known as the world leader not only in design, but also for outstanding quality, service and integrity. For these reasons, as well as to protect the jobs of our craftsmen who have been with us since the beginning, we have chosen not to take our products to Asia to be manufactured, where the quality and prompt delivery cannot be as carefully monitored as it is on our own shop here in America.
Today, Struble offers a line of exceptional reel seats as well as an assortment of accessories. Our shop staff is made up of five employees who bring a combined total of more than 75 years experience in reel seat manufacturing.
Our three staff members who handle office and shipping duties are dedicated to each customer. With the exception of two new employees, the remainder have been with us from ten to 23 years. And everyone at Struble remains deeply committed to upholding the tradition of excellence started by Glenn in 1974.
