Introducing our new line of Select Agate Stripping Guides, made from Brazilian Agate. Perfect for an extra-special custom rod, the colors of this material are intense and the banding is awesome. We have created our own tooling and equipment to process this beautiful material. We offer stripping guides in 8mm, 9mm, 10mm, 12mm, 16mm, and 20mm in a multitude of colors. This Brazilian Agate is the finest in the world! The stripping guides are made with the same quality and attention to detail as our other Agate and Agatine Stripping Guides, with rings set in nickel silver bands and hand-soldered to quality frames. You will truly enjoy the unique and eye-catching quality of these stripping guides on your custom rods! These agates have alternating bands of light red/orange and dark red/orange there may also be clear bands mixed in as well. All bands will be well defined. These stones would look great on lighter rods.

Many of the stones have both light and darker amber coloring. Unlike series 1 any banding will not be as distinct, these agates are a rich warm tone which would look great on either a light toned or dark toned rod.

These stones tend toward darker tones. We try to pick stones with nice banding for darker toned rods.

As the result of numerous requests by our graphite rod builders we decided to commit to a special series of agate rings that would compliment their fine craftsmanship..

We first introduced our black agate with white banding "Midnight Lace". And after much encouragement we decided to add our green agate with white banding "Emerald Green and Lace". Presently we offer the black agate with white banding "Midnight Lace" in 12mm, 16mm and 20mm. When When we saw samples of the green agate with white banding "Emerald Green and Lace" we were so delighted that we decided to provide it in 9mm, 10mm, 12mm, 16mm and 20mm. We love the beauty of this new series of agates, as they truly compliment any fine rod
